It’s aimed at “students and graduates” and takes place at Imagination’s HQ in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire for a developer day on the 26th November 2014.
The company writes:
“Come and find out about what our MIPS development engineers get up to and what makes Imagination Technologies one of the best semiconductor IP companies in the world.
You’ll spend the afternoon doing a robot maze programming challenge, giving you the opportunity to showcase your technical ability and develop further technical skills.”
The challenge will involve getting your hands dirty with good ol’ C programming.
Participants will also receive:
- An overview of the company
- An insight into our recruitment process
- A short talk by an Executive Vice President for MIPS
- A tour of our demo room
- An in depth talk about our MIPS processors
- Refreshments and a buffet lunch
- A prize for being part of the winning team
Details of how to apply can found on the competition webpage, but basically you have to send your CV and a letter and Imagination will select 20-30 applicants to attend.
