BT to provide Dreamcast Web access
Richard Ball BT has been chosen by Sega to provide a subscription-free Internet service for users of the Sega Dreamcast, its next generation games console. The Europe-wide deal allows Dreamcast users to access the Web through the console and their TV. Because Dreamcast integrates a 33.6kbit/s modem along with Internet Protocol and browser software, access is possible without a PC.
