Tom Foremski Major communications companies have invested $40m in Silicon Valley start-up Juniper Networks, the advanced networking product developer. Ericsson, Northern Telecom, and 3Com made the investment which is added to $16m raised from venture capital firms. The investors in Juniper believe that it has key technologies that will help speed up Internet traffic and make it possible to offer specialised services.
