European growth boosts Israeli firm
Alex Mayhew-Smith Strong growth in western Europe has fuelled AIM-listed Israeli datacomms equipment company BATM to a 71 per cent increase in turnover in 1998 to $18m. Pre-tax profit increased by nearly 150 per cent to $3.6m. The company said western Europe accounted for 64 per cent of turnover and that it planned to increase its R&D spending in 1999.
