Geordie jobs go electronic
Roy Rubenstein The Employment Service in Newcastle has gone live with a pilot programme of electronic kiosks to help job seekers. The Newcastle project has been testing ICL-developed kiosks in its Byker job centre since the beginning of the month and now the city’s three other job centres have gone live with the kiosks. At the touch of a button they display vacancies with full details of job, company and contacts.
