Mitel arm bought out by NeoMagic
Richard Wilson Mitel Semiconductor’s UK-based optical drive development group has been acquired by US notebook graphics chip supplier NeoMagic. The group is based in Manchester and includes 16 engineers with experience in mixed-signal analogue design and a DVD optical storage read-channel product lines. NeoMagic said that the Mitel team will help it in its plans to bring embedded DRAM to DVD chips.
