Political correspondent The government has been asked to ensure that all regions of the UK can receive terrestrial digital TV. North-West Norfolk Labour MP, George Turner, told the Commons: “In the analogue era of television broadcasting the UK has achieved almost universal access to core BBC and ITV services.” But he feared that as digital was rolled out, market forces would leave remote areas without it.
