Novel memory at Fujitsu
Roy Rubenstein Fujitsu has developed a novel memory which significantly improves the access speed of DRAM. Called fast cycle RAM (FCRAM), first 64Mbit silicon achieves a 26ns random access time and an address cycle time of 20ns. Fujitsu has achieved the speedier performance by doing away with the DRAM convention of multiplexed addressing.
