Palladium prices on the decrease
Richard Wilson The price of palladium has fallen back after reaching a record high following the stopping of shipments from Russia. Used in the production of multilayer ceramic capacitors, palladium was last week valued at $360/oz after a record high of $415. It has now dropped to $300. Commenting before the latest price drop, a market consultant told EW that prices would fall once Russian shipments – stopped by administrative problems within the country – resumed (see EW, May 27).
