Viasystems to shut Rugby PCB plant
Alex Mayhew-Smith Printed circuit board manufacturer Viasystems is to cease manufacturing at its plant in Rugby with the loss of 91 staff. The jobs will go by April 30. The firm blamed pressure in the PCB industry with a below budget performance at the site for the closure. Viasystems said a number of the staff may transfer to other sites in the UK.
